Activities and societies:

I had the privilege of representing my school in a National Level Quiz Competition held at St. Roberts School. Unfortunately, I didn’t progress further, but the experience fueled my drive for academic challenges

Following this, I participated in one of India’s most prestigious academic events, the National Children’s Science Congress, hosted at Maharani Girls High School. This competition required participants to submit original research, either laboratory-based, field-based, or a combination of both, focusing on topics of significant importance to humanity. Collaborating with university professors, my research centered on "Mycorrhizae," a fascinating symbiotic relationship between fungi and plants that enhances water and nutrient absorption. This project was an incredible learning experience, allowing me to work closely with scientists, operate an electron microscope, and gain deeper insights into the research process. Although we successfully cleared the initial selection stage, we didn’t make it to the final list. Nevertheless, the journey was invaluable, offering hands-on exposure to scientific inquiry and collaboration.

Additionally, I was selected for a state-level science experiment competition held at St. Joseph's College, where I later pursued my education. Our team focused on Pyrolysis, a process that converts plastic into fuel in the absence of oxygen. We innovatively used chalk as a catalyst to lower the process temperature, which would otherwise exceed 500°C. During our experiments, we discovered that the gases produced were hazardous to workers, presenting a significant challenge for industrial scalability. Addressing this issue could unlock the potential for pyrolysis to contribute to solving the global fuel crisis. This project not only deepened my understanding of applied science but also inspired me to think critically about real-world problems and their solutions.

Bachelor of Computer Applications

I must admit, my college days weren’t as active as my school years, largely due to the global pandemic. During my second semester, we found ourselves confined to our homes as COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill. By the time colleges reopened in the fifth semester, I made it a point to actively involve myself in co-curricular activities. I participated in a National Quiz Competition, securing 2nd place, and I also held leadership roles in our college’s Information and Technology Club—serving as vice president during the pandemic and later assuming the role of secretary when the college resumed in-person sessions. Additionally, I attended an Ethical Hacking workshop conducted by the Indian School of Ethical Hacking (ISOEH), which was an exciting and eye-opening experience. And as for design? Well, I didn’t exactly learn it in college. I started exploring design during my second semester, teaching myself everything through online resources—a testament to my self-taught journey and passion for creativity!
